Sculpture and wall works in stone, marble, alabaster, steel and copper
Maureen Kirwen uses a combination of materials—primarily stone: alabaster, soapstone and marble—as the core of her award-winning, museum-quality sculptures. She has perfected her craft with a refined juxtaposition of strength, elegance and inventiveness.
Her work has been shown in New York, Miami, Washington and Columbus, and is held in numerous private collections including Elmore’s own Schedel Gardens. Her current work explores textures released through chemical reactions as she infuses color into steel and copper.
